University of Galway Rugby, as part of the 150th celebration, hosted the 2024 Conroy Cup cpmpetition on Saturday 26 October. Its been 17 years since UCC last won the competition in 2007. On Saturday years of hurt and frustration were finally swept away when Dylan Mullan finally lifted the cup for UCC Rugby after they overcame Maynooth University in the final by a single score margin of 5-0.

On the day UCC played five games with the following results:
Beat Queens University 19-7
Drew 0-0 with Trinity University
Beat Maynooth Uni - 24 - 10
Drew with UCD 5-5
In the final UCC Rugby beat Maynooth University 5-0.
